ABOUT US!
With some exciting exploration of Space and planet earth, we are now venturing into Indigenous culture and native animals in Australia. In Literacy we are learning to write narratives and in Maths we are looking at perimeter, area, fractions and symmetry.
Please respond to the posts and look at the links down the side to find activities relating to what we are doing in class.

Emily
Very Creative indeed, Emily! Well done. (Miss Strugnell)
Is your creature scary or friendly Emily? Sounds like a very unique creature! (Mrs Lewis)
Cool idea Emily.
Mine would be sort of like
Emily's animal but it would be blue like the sky, with a small tail,as well as a head with sparkles all over it
[white sparkles],it would also be realy kind, gentle, giving and would care for everybody when they might need a friend or when they feel sad and need some comfort
Mine would never give up. It would also be realy good at soccer because i love soccer and because it would heve tall legs with about two warts on each foot and would need to use wart remouver evry single day wich would not hurt him and he would like always having to use wart remouver all the time it would also spit like a lama. Its fav food would be mud mud mud mud mud mud mud mud and more mud.It would like any sport at all.
Sorry if i got any words wrong it was because it was alot of typing for me.
SIDONIE
Thanks Sidonie! What an interesting animal you have imagined! This creature sounds like something that would be great to play with at school during lunchtime, he could even find some mud to eat on the playground. I wonder are these warts contagious to other animals and people? In which case maybe he is better to stay at the zoo. ;-)
From Mrs Lewis
To mrs Lewis,
The warts are not contageous exept for their own kind.

Hello Anika. I read your description and automatically thought of this little japanese cartoon character (called pickachu). I included a link to show you:
